I'm painting the Last Supper in Oils on a 42" x 21" canvas I made myself because of it's uncommon size.
Then I had to build an Easel to hold it. This is my first painting in over 30 years and first painting of people on canvas. I painted Jesus and my Father in the PC many years ago. Painting in the PC is so much easier because you have undo & many filters to help get the job done.
What a Challenge for my first painting. The tapestries in Leonardo's are to faded and mostly missing to see so I'm making up my own.
I designed the tapestries from the idea there were not many if any tapestries in Jerusalem at the time of the last supper and were likely imported and probably very simple.
